Customers shop online at Amazon Autos and pick up their vehicle at the dealership. Customers choose a car, compare pricing, choose their purchase type (finance, lease, pay-in-full), add protection products, secure financing, and place a down payment at Amazon Autos. Customers schedule pickup at the dealership, which occurs within 1 to 3 days of placing a deposit. Dealers send e-contracts prior to pickup, and paperwork that requires a physical signature is completed at pickup.
No. Amazon Autos is an online store that enables dealers to list their vehicles. Our role is to provide a seamless, omnichannel car-buying journey where shoppers can confidently discover and buy the vehicle, while dealers and brands can grow their businesses.
Vehicle listings are shown to customers within 75 miles of their zip code. If there are multiple dealers within the set range, the customer would have the ability to choose the dealer they would like to work with.
A2Z Sync integrates your inventory, pricing, and deals with Amazon Autos, giving dealers the visibility and control needed to manage online sales effectively. Through A2Z Sync, dealers can work with their existing systems and workflows while seamlessly managing their vehicles on Amazon Autos.
Pricing for all vehicles, as well as offsets to protection products and rates, are set by the dealer, through A2Z Sync and through integrations with your existing tech stack. The dealer-set price is what will appear on Amazon Autos.
A2Z Sync integrates with most major Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. If A2Z Sync does not currently integrate with your technology solution, you can still sell cars at Amazon Autos without changing your tech stack.
Sell My Car is an add-on for dealers who already list their new, used, or CPO inventory at Amazon Autos. Dealers can opt into the Sell My Car feature in order to work with customers who are looking to sell their car outright. Additionally, these dealers will be able to access the private Amazon Autos auction through ACV.
Sell My Car is a feature in Beta available to dealers who already list their inventory at Amazon Autos. We don’t charge a transaction fee or any commission for sales through Amazon Autos. For a limited time, new dealers pay no listing fees for the first 6 months.
If a customer chooses to sell their car to your dealership and you are not interested in acquiring their used car, simply complete the vehicle inspection through ACV, and send the vehicle to the private Amazon Autos auction.
