A dealer’s limited warranty must cover:
- At least 30-days / 1,000 miles (ICE, EV + PHEV)
- At least Powertrain mechanical breakdown / failure (Parts & Labor), including Seals & Gaskets
- OEM Parts of Like-Kind Quality (LKQ)
- Roadside Assistance and towing for a covered claim

All dealers who wish to list and sell their used and CPO inventory must adhere to the 3-day/300-mile return policy. Customers will have 3 days, starting from when the vehicle is marked Picked Up, to submit a return request through Amazon Customer Service.
The Customer Service Agent will collect the pertinent details of the vehicle and contact the dealer to schedule a return appointment. The dealer and customer will validate the vehicle’s condition before processing the return.
Dealers are recommended to hold trade-in vehicles until the return window expires. However, dealers may follow their own in-store policies concerning trade-in returns, subject to applicable laws.
Amazon Autos always wants the customer to have the best experience. The Amazon Autos return policy is a minimum standard that dealers must provide to customers. If a dealer or OEM offers a better return policy on a vehicle, Amazon Autos strongly encourages the dealer to honor that over the minimum Amazon Autos Return Policy.
Dealers can continue leveraging the Safe-Guard Limited Warranty or they can showcase their own complimentary warranties that meet Amazon Autos’ minimum requirements.
We understand that selling your in-store products at Amazon Autos is important; we are working to enable this in the future. The ExtraProtect product suite currently available through Safe-Guard has been shaped to prioritize dealer economics and customization. 69% of customers³ had not considered the dealership before Amazon Autos, and would return for service.
Dealers must have at least one active relationships with the lenders in the Amazon Autos network; however, it is recommended to offer full-spectrum lending to maximize rate competitiveness and approvals.
At this time, Amazon Autos supports lending options with Ally, Chase, Bank of America, Santander, and Wells Fargo. We’re always evaluating the addition of more lending options, including captive lending through Subaru.
Dealers can adjust lending rates at the lender level in accordance with lender program guidelines through A2Z tooling. Dealers will leverage the Amazon Autos Rate Markup tool to set and adjust their markup. Amazon Autos provides dealers with tooling to establish mark-ups, up to lender maximums, by term.
